news 01.07.03:

Well dang if we ain't just too busy to manage to write a little updated news page for a month!

A new 36 minute album The Entropy Circus present... Stella Maris is complete and shipping out to our usual conspiracy of contacts. Very different from the Stella Maris EP - odd retrofitted rejigs of Boney M songs, analog-metal fusions, headkicking motorisms. CD also features lo-res mpeg videos for the first Stella Maris EP. The cover is just down there on the right. A million thanks to Neil Ayres for his review on the brilliant Fragment Magazine.

We just rebuilt M John Harrison's Empty Space website. All new minimal look for 2003 with its very own forum and everything.

Currently very excited about exonemo.com's FMS (FragMental Storm) browser. It's a horribly fractured way to view the internet spraying images, content and code across the screen in that sort of way that you always wanted the WWW to look. Available for free download here probably works best on Windows XP - looked awful on NT and there *is* a Mac version but I have no idea if it's any good.

Also worth a look: Tour Diary by Amy of Kling Klang. Don't get too many rock'n'roll documents from a synth player in an otherwise all male synth noise band. Probably because there aren't that many bands configured that way! Apparently there is a longer, more complete version of this diary which Amy might release at some unspecified future date.

Oh, and there are tentative plans to start a (very) small press. Initially to release booklets of Al Robertson's poetry but we are also looking to expand into Michael John Powell's philosophical essays and perhaps some nonsense from my good self. More on this as it comes.

More soon.

As ever I can be contacted at my hotmail account: iotar@hotmail.com

More Soon,
Z.

STELLA MARIS

Analog death-disco metal-fusions meet spy movie multi-headed bossa motorisms while a dervish sky of arcing Teutonic guitar falls headlong into the LFO filtered dark night of the soul.
