I'm getting nostalgic for the days when this place was a nonstop cynical funhouse. Where is everyone? Io? Al? Martin? Alex? Dan?
Seems like it's just me and MJP...and he's talking to himself about Michael Jackson. Kind of spooky. ;) |

Dave you are right. They have all just wandered off and are talking to themselves in the tumbleweed streets of Butt Town. I blame it on a loss of concentration caused by the multimedia. I think we lost Al a long time a go - eyes glazed over; permanent zombiedom. At least I can pride myself on talking in a coherent fashion. Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! I really do blame the multi-media, Primark and WoW and such for their baleful influence. I am going to fold up my stall and pack away my toys in soft tissue paper and put them all into storage until Al et al see the error of their ways. |

Also, regarding Torchwood (which apparently every single Brit tuned in to watch): On one hand, I like it because it was so blatantly anti-government. But the whole thing revolved around a plot hole that made my mind boggle. You ready, I'm going to ruin it for you: why the hell does an alien species that can mind control kids need to parlay with the goverment in order to acquire these kids? Why not just zombie march the kids onto their ship and flip off the tiny humans as they blast off? And they need kids for drugs? How dumb is that? More to the point, how dumb is it that nobody asked the 456 what chemicals they needed in order to see if they could be synthesized...you know, without sacrificing 10% of the planet's children?
Russell T. Davies is a hack writer. Just terrible. Everything he writes falls apart the second you stop to think about it.
And yet, despite not having a TV anymore, I still pirate Dr. Who and Torchwood. This is obviously a clinical condition. |

Hello - how is everyone? I've been concentrating on communicating as little as possible. It's amazing what you can get done when you don't have anything to do with people. Now, if I can just un-Facebook myself everything will be fine. Trouble is, once you leave Facebook you're effectively dead. Don't start, kids. |

I totally respect your silent ways too. And your productivity. Sometimes I think I'm going to get rid of my cell phone and delete my facebook account and just start sending smoke signals instead. Would anybody miss me? Would I miss them?
