Hi Folks,

I've not been on here much recently (like many of you, it seems), and now I come stumbling back in just to plug my latest venture. Oh the shamefacedness of it.

Anyway, I have my own radio show starting on Tuesday. Struggling for a name, I decided to call it Empty Space. It seemed strangely appropriate for a radio show.

It will be on Sheffield Live which is broadcast on 93.2FM in the Sheffield area and (more usefully for you lot) is podcast & archived on www.sheffieldlive.org

The show is on Tuesday mornings, 10am-noon, although I'm trying to get it moved to the same slot on Fridays.

I will be covering arts in the Sheffield area, and playing lots of weird & (occasionally) wonderful music.

I'm also keen to create some "radio art", and to do some spoken word pieces. I'm open to suggestions of features, things to read out on air, experiments to try, music to play... anything really. Please email me at dan at sumption dot org if you have any ideas.

And pop into the chatroom on SheffieldLive.org this Tuesday morning, if you get the chance.

Radio is fun :-)

I'm really settling into this radio lark, and I think I'm getting a bit better at the chat side of it.

Should anyone be interested, archived shows, complete playlists and other bumph can be found here:
