WENDY – Wish You Hell. First Red Velvet solo of the year gives us some bratty K-goth action. Similarly to Seulgi’s solo album a couple of years back, WENDY seems to contain two polar personae engaged in a life and death struggle, but it’s more a cartoon sort of life and <\/a>death struggle in this case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n YOUNG POSSE – XXL. One of our favourite new discoveries this year. Crazy hiphop kids with vast trousers who get into all kinds of hi-jinx that involves food. The video is mad as a bag of frogs, but more crucially huge fun. These kids are alright.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ARTMS – Birth. After Modhaus revived LOONA’s most beloved subunit, ODD EYE CIRCLE, last year, this trio was reinforced by two more lunar alumni, Heejin and Haseul, to give us ARTMS. And this is absolute dead-cold shivers-up-the-spine amazing. This was exactly what LOONA stans had been waiting for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And this was only their second best video this year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
