Why cannot the banks be as disinterested in money as I?
Their avarice I find I despise and their investments are so often unwise.
The guys who gamble and carousel on our hard-earned cash are like scamsters,
I would much prefer that hamsters should eat their way through my pies.
In Japan when an investor fails he is like to commit suicide,
While the Wall Street investor shall take no interest if my fortunes cannot be revived.
Vilified: here is a word that to them is too rarely applied,
And snide critiques of their failings will alter not bonus nor pride.
So please advise: Why cannot the banks be as disinterested in money as I?
